Daniel Shapiro grew up by the sea in the Pacific Northwest. At a young age he read Vogue, W, and i-D and took solace in fashion editorials. He draws inspiration from Pre-Raphaelite painters, Hayao Miyazaki films, archival runway shows, and humanity's relationship with nature. Currently, he lives in Seattle.
